Wan Mohamad Nasir Wan Othman is a specialist in the field of Dental Public Health and also actively involved in health personnel education, particularly the education of the dentists and dental therapists. He joined USIM after mandatory retirement from Ministry of Health and is currently Professor in Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, USIM. Dr. Wan was involved in quality of life studies and has conducted several national dental (oral) epidemiological studies. His research interests also include development and evaluation of dental education programs. He has published six books, several articles and presented numerous papers on oral health and dental education in national and international forums.
